Yvonne has only come into the weaving tradition since about 1993. Only a distant relative in her family did any weaving. It was not until she met and started going with Milton Laughing that she really got interested in learning to weave herself. Milton has been the main teacher but it is easy to see the influence of the other members of the Laughing family in YvonneÕs pieces. Yvonne utilizes the Laughing wool and except for the fact that her weavings seem to be packed a bit tighter it is virtually indistinguishable from work of other members of the family.
