Nellie is known for her dense, tightly packed textiles. She has the ability to weave most any pattern, although she prefers the intricate geometrics of the Teec Nos Pos style. She is also capable of working in sizes as large as 6' X 9'. She is a fairly prolific weaver, creating several pieces each year. Nellie began weaving at an early age; like most Navajo weavers she learned from her mother.
