Dean & Divine have many relatives who are potters - the Reanos are a well known family at Acoma. Divine learned from her mother and .
she has been potting since she was about 10 years old. Dean the art from Divine. They are adept at creating large plates as well as miniatures
under 1" in diameter. They are traditional Acoma potters, using the fine white clay for which the pueblo is known. However, Divine and Dean's
real prowess is in their artistic and detailed painting of their clay vessels. Dean primarily paints the animal and human figures, while Divine primarily
paints the intricate geometric designs. They both are involved in the working of the clay, and enjoy creating patterns that are associated with
Acoma pueblo and their Anasazi ancestors. Divine and Dean have five children, one girl born in 1979, and four boys born in1984, 1986, 1988,
and 1991.
