We have hand-carved our ornaments and Nativities since 1987. They are carved from Cottonwood bark which we gather in the Rio Grande bosque. The uncarved wood resembles the Southwestern hills and mountains. The carved and sanded portions have the redish brown color of adobe. Our designs are from sketches we made of Southwestern adobes, missions, and trading posts.
