Charlene is a miniature basket weaver who has created true masterpieces in her art. Rather than working with vegetal material, Charlene, like many of her relatives, prefers to use horsehair for her medium. Charlene's versatility is shown in the variety of designs she can create using the coil method. Her work has been published in volumes such as Beyond Tradition by Jerry & Lois Jacka, and Santa Fe Indian Market by Sheila Tryk & Mark Nohl.
